I am honored to announce that I have been awarded a 2022 Artist Fellowship for Poetry from the Virginia Commission on the Arts. I am grateful to the commission and the panelists and congratulate my fellow writers. http:// arts.virginia.gov .    
This lovely winter-themed anthology has poems and poetic prose by over 60 writers, inspired by the festive season and a range of traditions from across the world, including a micropoem by yours truly. I'm glad to be a part of it as well as the audio playlist . Many thanks to editor Matthew M.C. Smith and the Black Bough Poetry team .

August is Women in Translation Month , and I'm thrilled to again be hosting this reading on August 8 sponsored by the Muse Writers Center and the Poetry Society of Virginia. Please join us on Zoom for work in translation from Mexico and Myanmar along with US women writers exploring the impact of other languages and traditions on their writing in English. With Chenda Bao , Kurt Hackbarth, Carolyn Kreiter-Foronda , Tamara León , Sahar Muradi, and Thawda Aye Lei.  
The latest issue of Green Humanities is out, including a wonderful feature on "QuebEcology." Thanks to editors Peter Schulman, Josh Weinstein, and Jennifer Atkinson for including my piece "Architectonics."    
I'm excited to have 4 poems published in the latest pages of New World Writing . A big thanks to Kim Chinquee and the editorial team.  
April is National Poetry Month. To celebrate, Catherine is reading at online two events this weekend.  On Saturday, April 10 , she joins John Foy, Myronn Hardy, Rachel Hadas, and David M. Katz to explore Carl Griffin's book-length long-poem response to the coronavirus outbreak. On Sunday, April 11 , Virginia Poet Laureate Luisa Igloria convenes the Poetry Society of Virginia to highlight the role of poetry in civic engagement.
The latest issue of The Inflectionist Review is now live, including my poem "Night Watch." I'm thrilled to be in such good poetic company. Many thanks to editors John Sibley Williams and Anatoly Molotkov.
